Dr. Pinchak is a nationally and internationally recognized authority in grazing cattle nutrition; dual-use wheat systems with particular emphasis on the wheat pasture frothy bloat complex in beef cattle, grazing management and beef cattle behavior. He has published 54 peer-reviewed journal articles, a book chapter, presented results of his research at over 150 regional, national and international meetings. Dr. Pinchak has managed over $3.7 million dollars of research funding. Dr Pinchak is currently the President of the Texas Section of the Society for Range Management, past chair of the Southwest Wheat Research and Education Consortium, Texas Beef Workers, Texas Forage Workers and WERA-110. His current research emphasis on wheat pasture management and bloat mitigation has led to his Laboratory being recognized as leaders in the field.
