The Vernon Center serves as the contact point for family & community health programming and resources across the Texas Rolling Plains.
This region is located in the northern part of the state, and covers 24 counties. The largest population resides in Parker County near the metroplex with over 140,000 people and the smallest being King County, with 295 people in a rural area on the western side of the district.

Dinner Tonight
Dinner Tonight is a featured program of Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service. You can visit the Dinner Tonight website to find many recipes and resources for busy families. Better Living for Texans
Better Living for Texans is a statewide nutrition education program for adults (and kids) to learn how to make healthy meals, improve their physical fitness, save money at the grocery store, grow their own foods, and adopt better food safety habits. This program is for SNAP participants and program eligible individuals.
